As a Technical Account Manager, you’ll work as a trusted advisor to AWS’s strategic partners and clients across EMEA, ensuring they gain maximum value from AWS solutions. You’ll guide them through cloud adoption and transformation, focusing on critical aspects such as operational excellence, architectural guidance, cost optimization, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Technical Guidance: Partner with businesses, from high-growth startups to major enterprises, to create and execute robust cloud strategies.
- Customer Advocacy: Become a customer champion by advocating for their needs within AWS and helping identify improvement opportunities.
- Operational Health: Maintain and enhance the operational health of AWS environments by reducing complexity and cost.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Account Managers to align technical efforts with business goals.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Use your engineering and DevOps skills to help resolve incidents, mitigate risks, and provide architectural reviews.
- Enablement & Training: Conduct workshops, brown-bag sessions, and training to upskill customer teams and ensure they remain cloud-competent.
- Innovation-Driven Solutions: Identify and implement technical solutions that align with client needs and evolving market trends.
AWS Products You’ll Work With
As a TAM, you’ll support an array of AWS products including:
- Compute: Amazon EC2, Lambda
- Storage: Amazon S3
- Databases: DynamoDB, Amazon RDS
- Content Delivery: Amazon CloudFront CDN
- Internet of Things (IoT) and more
These services empower customers to design highly scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based applications.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Bilingual fluency in Russian or German.
- Proven technical experience in at least three of the following areas: compute, storage, networking, databases, CDN, DevOps, big data, analytics, or application development.
- Demonstrated expertise in operational management and troubleshooting in distributed systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Experience as a technical lead in a customer-facing or internal enterprise role.
