Key Responsibilities
1. Requirement Analysis & Development
- Work closely with the functional team to understand business requirements.
- Estimate development efforts for assigned functionalities.
- Develop software components in accordance with Agile/Water-Scrum-Fall methodologies.
- Write optimized Oracle SQL queries, stored procedures, and packages for high-volume data processing.
2. Performance Optimization
- Fine-tune queries to enhance execution efficiency.
- Optimize existing code to improve flexibility and scalability.
- Ensure the smooth functioning of high-performance applications by reducing execution time and resource consumption.
3. Code Review & Quality Assurance
- Conduct peer reviews to maintain code quality and performance standards.
- Assist in fixing defects during system testing, SIT, UAT, and non-regression testing.
- Ensure best practices in database design and implementation.
4. Deployment & Maintenance
- Assist in go-live activities, ensuring seamless deployment of solutions.
- Provide post-implementation support to resolve any system-related issues.
- Continuously improve and refine existing software solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Proficiency in FLEXCUBE is a must-have.
- Expertise in query fine-tuning and performance optimization.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling and analytical functions.
- Hands-on experience in writing optimized Oracle queries, stored procedures, and packages.
- Experience in the banking domain.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new tools as per project needs.
