Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable software solutions within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Your responsibilities will include:

Software Design & Development: Define, design, and develop robust software applications and systems that adhere to best practices in software engineering.
Cloud Services Development: Build cloud-based services that leverage the full potential of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), ensuring efficiency, scalability, and security.
End-to-End Software Lifecycle Management: Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from design, coding, and debugging to quality assurance and production deployment.
Scalable Architecture Implementation: Develop distributed, scalable, and fault-tolerant software systems to handle massive healthcare data workloads efficiently.
Big Data Processing & Optimization: Work with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, and MapReduce to enhance data processing capabilities.
Performance Tuning & Optimization: Improve system performance by optimizing data pipelines for higher throughput and lower latency.
Containerization & Microservices Development: Leverage microservices architecture and container platforms to ensure high availability and scalability.
DevOps & CI/CD Practices: Implement and maintain Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) workflows for streamlined software delivery.
Observability & Monitoring: Use monitoring tools such as Splunk, New Relic, and OCI monitoring solutions to ensure system health and reliability.

What You Bring to the Team

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on highly scalable products and services.
Expertise in Java and JVM-based languages with a deep understanding of multithreading, parallel processing, and performance tuning.
Experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, MapReduce, and Crunch.
Hands-on experience in building high-performance, secure, and scalable cloud services.
Familiarity with container platforms like Docker and Kubernetes.
Deep understanding of API design and microservices architecture.
Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD tools, and version control systems (Git/SVN).
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and automation frameworks.
Experience with observability and monitoring tools like Splunk, New Relic, and OCI monitoring tools.

Preferred Skills & Additional Qualifications:

Experience working in cloud environments such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Knowledge of NoSQL databases, relational databases, and distributed data processing frameworks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design solutions for large-scale applications.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Familiarity with security best practices in cloud application development.
