Role Summary

As an SAP SuccessFactors Compensation Consultant, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Compensation modules. You will collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to create seamless compensation solutions that align with organizational goals and industry best practices. Your role will require a deep understanding of compensation planning, data analysis, and HRIS integration.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the configuration and deployment of SAP SuccessFactors Compensation modules.

  • Design, implement, and optimize compensation cycles including salary, bonuses, merit increases, incentive programs, and benefits structures.

  • Work closely with HR stakeholders to identify compensation strategies that align with business objectives.

  • Analyze compensation data, create comprehensive reports, and provide actionable insights for decision-makers.

  • Ensure effective integration with other HRIS systems and payroll platforms.

  • Provide ongoing support, training, and consultation to internal teams regarding compensation processes.

  • Participate in compensation benchmarking exercises using tools like Mercer, PayScale, and Salary.com.


Required Experience & Skills

Core Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in SAP SuccessFactors, with at least 5+ years focused on the Compensation module.

  • Hands-on experience in implementing and configuring SAP SuccessFactors Compensation module.

  • Deep understanding of compensation principles including merit planning, bonus structures, incentive management, and salary benchmarking.

  • Prior exposure to working in HR, Compensation & Benefits, or Payroll domains is considered a plus.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Strong command over SAP SuccessFactors Compensation functionality.

  • Ability to design, configure, and manage compensation cycles, templates, and workflows.

  • Familiarity with SAP BusinessObjects and reporting platforms such as Power BI.

  • Understanding of integration mechanisms with other HR systems or third-party payroll solutions.

  • Competency in using compensation benchmarking tools such as Mercer, PayScale, and Salary.com.

Analytical & Functional Skills:

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to process and interpret large data sets.

  • Proficiency in generating compensation dashboards, visual reports, and performance metrics.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.

  • Ability to translate compensation strategy into technical solutions.


Preferred Certifications

  • SAP SuccessFactors Compensation certification (highly preferred).

  • Additional HR certifications such as CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) or equivalent will be advantageous.
