Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Production Oversight

• Lead and manage all aspects of generator assembly operations on the shop floor.
• Oversee team operations and align individual tasks to maintain smooth workflow and consistently meet daily production objectives.
• Assign tasks to technicians and monitor their performance against established goals.

2. Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Ensure all assembly operations align with the organization’s quality standards and best practices.
• Conduct in-process inspections and implement corrective measures to address deviations.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.

3. Safety & Workplace Discipline

• Promote a safety-first culture by enforcing adherence to all occupational health and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular safety drills and toolbox talks to ensure worker awareness and preparedness.
• Address and resolve safety incidents promptly while maintaining accurate documentation.

4. Production Planning & Reporting

• Coordinate with the production planning team to meet schedule timelines and resource allocation.

• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including daily output, efficiency, and downtime.

5. Continuous Improvement & Lean Initiatives

• Champion 5S methodology and other lean manufacturing practices to improve productivity and shop floor organization.
• Identify areas for process optimization and implement improvement projects.
• Engage team members in continuous improvement activities and encourage ownership at all levels.

6. Technical Expertise & Support

• Interpret and apply engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation during assembly processes.
• Provide hands-on support to troubleshoot assembly challenges and technical issues.
• Guide technicians in adopting standardized procedures and best-in-class assembly practices.
