Role Overview
As an Administrator, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the efficient operation of client IT infrastructure, including servers, systems, networks, and storage. You will be expected to respond to user-raised tickets, ensure timely resolution of service requests, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions that align with Wipro’s service excellence standards.
This position demands a proactive problem-solver who can manage hardware/software installations, maintain system uptime, collaborate with technical teams, and ensure end-user satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
1. Incident and Request Management

Respond promptly to all tickets raised by end-users through various channels such as email, dial-in, chat, and IT management systems (IMS).

Deliver high-quality resolutions that meet Wipro’s service quality standards.

Prioritize issues based on SLA guidelines and ensure zero escalations by adhering to expected resolution times.
2. System & Infrastructure Administration

Act as a technical custodian for the client’s software, hardware, and networking infrastructure.

Regularly monitor the performance and availability of systems, servers, networks, and storage platforms.

Ensure smooth functioning and routine maintenance of IT assets and systems.
3. Root Cause Analysis & Problem Resolution

Conduct thorough root cause analysis for recurring incidents.

Develop and implement action plans to resolve underlying technical issues permanently.

Work closely with both on-site and remote support teams to resolve advanced infrastructure-related issues effectively.
4. Software/Hardware Configuration
-
Install, configure, and troubleshoot software and hardware based on user service requests.

Maintain updated documentation of system changes and installations.

Assist users in software configuration, access management, and system upgrades.
5. Service Request Fulfillment

Provide access and authorization management for applications and user systems as per client requirements.

Ensure proper tracking of service requests from initiation to resolution using ticketing tools.

Maintain detailed service logs and ensure quality assurance standards are met.
6. Backup & Data Integrity

Ensure timely backup of vital client data, system logs, and IT resources to avoid service disruption.

Perform periodic data validation checks to ensure backup integrity and system compliance.
7. Automation & Monitoring

Monitor and review logs generated by Chatbots and automated systems to detect unresolved service requests.

Work with AI tools and scripts to enhance the efficiency and speed of service delivery.

Professional Experience

Previous experience in a system/network administration or IT support role is highly preferred.

Technical Skills
