Role Overview:
As a transition manager, you will guide and oversee complex transition projects with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients. Your key responsibility will be to ensure seamless process migrations and service transitions with a focus on performance optimization, risk management, digital enablement, and value creation. This is an extremely collaborative role requiring a mix of strategic vision and operational delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Formulate a complete understanding of end-to-end (E2E) solutions and value proposition to be provided to the clients.
• Work with team leads (TLs), SMEs, and transformation teams to influence transition strategies according to client needs.
• Join pre-transition workshops to tweak services to be offered and solve expressed and implicit client needs.
• Serve as lead in updating RFP (Request for Proposal) documents and assist in client engagement strategy.
• Utilize Genpact’s Digital Compendium—our library of digital transformation solutions, tools, and offerings—to connect to domain agendas.
• Work with internal stakeholders like SMEs, domain leaders, and people function teams to tailor transformation solutions.
• Own project expectations and propel initiatives by creating clarity, accountability, and good communication throughout.
• Anticipate risks and introduce co-created change management solutions through the transition life cycle.
• Ensure SLA compliance and achieve successful project delivery for 90 days after go-live.
• Establish business revenue models, cost models, and profitability measures.
• Utilize project management software and digital dashboards to track progress and avoid risks.
• Establish communication channels for long-term success with clients and internal teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor‘s Degree (Postgraduate is preferred)
• Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience in project management or transition roles
• Familiarity with large ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle
• Digital literacy with a digital transformation mindset
• Knowledge of consulting and organizational change management methodologies
• Efficient management of project costs and budgets
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications and Desired Skills:
• Hands-on experience with digital deployments or transition projects covering new-age technology solutions
• Strategic mindset with the capacity to have high-level discussions with senior stakeholders
• Skills in designing and delivering end-to-end solutions for clients across industries
• Competent in project setup, execution, closure, and post-deployment support
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in the delivery of outcomes in high-pressure situations
