Role Purpose
As a developer—L3 at Wipro—your key task will be to design, develop, test, and support software applications and systems deployed at client sites. You will be a vital part of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), having sound coding standards, system integrity, and 100% adherence to quality assurance processes.
This position suits candidates who love coding, optimizing systems, boosting performance, and providing high-quality solutions that suit changing client needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Requirements and Product Design Understanding
• Work with project managers and stakeholders to comprehend business goals and client requirements.
• Understand system flow, data utilization, and work processes to formulate actionable insights to use in software development.
• Transform business requirements into viable software architecture and technical details.
• Join brainstorming and root cause analysis for finding and fixing system problems.
• Find opportunities to increase system performance, decrease latency, and enhance the user experience.
• Collaborate with systems analysts and functional groups for in-depth examination of software requirements.
2. Software Coding and Development Best Practices
• Design operational software modules with excellent code quality and modularity.
• Assess system feasibility through analysis of problem definitions, requirements, and technical limitations.
• Automate software validation processes through test cases, scenarios, and usage examples.
• Change existing software for bug fixes, hardware compatibility, performance tuning, or UI enhancements.
• Conduct code reviews, debug complex problems, and maintain code quality through rigorous testing procedures.
• Develop technical documentation such as programming specifications, code comments, and flow diagrams.
• Adhere to version control and code check-in standards for project tracking and review.
• Provide concise, clear, and organized reports on project progress and module status.
• Report daily to team members to offer details on project milestones and development challenges.
• Give usability feedback, maintainability, and user experience feedback while reporting risks and performance issues to stakeholders.
3. Client Communication and Status Reporting
• Have active communication with clients to receive continuous requirements and confirm expectations.
• Make routine feedback collection in order to ensure project alignment and client satisfaction.
• Maintain current knowledge of the newest development tools, programming languages, and industry directions through ongoing learning and certification.
• Collaborate with engineering groups for software-hardware interface comprehension and specifications formulation.
• Present and illustrate solutions by employing charts, diagrams, code examples, and other graphics for simplicity.
• Practice professional communication with clients through email, voice, and documentation, following business protocol.
• Promptly respond to client inquiries, ensuring no escalations or complaints arise from internal or external stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications
• BSc in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related area.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing software or any other technical programming role.
• Basic knowledge of a minimum of one programming language of Java, Python, C++ or.NET.
• Understanding of contemporary development concepts, such as DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, as well as source control tools such as Git.
• Good grasp of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Practical experience working on cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is desirable.
• Analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong ability to collaborate and work as part of a team.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to engage with clients and write technical documents.
