🔍 About the Role – SAP ABAP HANA Developer
As an SAP ABAP HANA Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, enhancement, and deployment of business applications built on the S/4HANA platform. You’ll apply modern development techniques using Core Data Services (CDS), OData, AMDP, Adobe Forms, Workflows, and more to deliver customized, scalable SAP solutions for enterprise clients.
You will work closely with functional consultants, solution architects, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into high-performance technical solutions using the SAP ABAP HANA development stack.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Build CDS views, OData services, AMDP procedures, and Adobe Forms for S/4HANA projects
Implement RICEF components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms)
Customize and modify standard SAP layout sets using SAP Scripts, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms
Apply best practices in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) and reusable component development
Collaborate in full-cycle SAP implementations including requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, and post-deployment support
Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, bug fixes, and documentation
🎓 Educational Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Preferred: Master’s Degree in Computer Applications, Information Systems, or Business Technology
✅ Required Technical Skills
Strong experience with S/4HANA ABAP development
Proficiency in CDS views, ODATA services, AMDP, and Adobe Forms
Expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP and SAP Enhancement Framework
Experience in SAP Data Dictionary object creation and maintenance
Hands-on experience in SAP RICEF development
Working knowledge of native SQL, ADBC, and integration with HANA Studio/ADT
Familiarity with ALV on HANA and consumption of HANA Live models
Ability to format and customize SAP output documents using multiple options
⭐ Preferred Professional Experience
12+ years experience in SAP development
Involvement in 3–4 full-cycle SAP ABAP HANA implementations
Prior experience in implementation, consulting, upgrade, maintenance, and post-production support
Ability to translate functional specifications into technical designs
Client-facing experience with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
