Position Overview: Developer – L3 (GIS Esri)
Wipro is hiring a skilled Developer – L3 with 3–5 years of experience and expertise in GIS Esri for our Hyderabad team. The role requires strong software development capabilities, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions that meet 100% quality assurance standards.
Key Responsibilities
🔍 Requirement Analysis & Product Understanding
- Interpret client requirements and translate them into practical and feasible software designs.
- Analyze systems workflows, data flows, and business processes to develop effective solutions.
- Collaborate with functional teams, system analysts, and project managers to gather comprehensive insights into the product.
- Conduct root cause analysis for identified system issues and performance gaps.
- Investigate and address problem areas throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
💻 Software Development & Coding
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code that adheres to project norms and standards.
- Develop and automate validation processes by designing and executing comprehensive test scenarios.
- Modify existing software to correct bugs, improve performance, or enhance compatibility with new hardware.
- Conduct system analysis and suggest system upgrades or enhancements.
- Ensure error-free code and address bugs and failures proactively.
- Document technical specifications, code comments, workflows, charts, and programming reports clearly.
- Coordinate with team members daily to track progress and align deliverables.
- Ensure optimal onboarding, deployment, and error-free implementation.
📈 Project Execution & Reporting
- Maintain ongoing status reports and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
- Respond promptly to client feedback and continuously improve delivery quality.
- Capture all requirements, updates, and clarifications from clients for seamless execution.
- Engage in continuous learning through internal and external training programs to stay updated with industry best practices.
- Consult with engineering teams to optimize system performance and software-hardware integration.
- Demonstrate and document software solutions in a structured, client-friendly manner.

- Maintain a high standard of customer communication across email, voice, and report documentation.
- Deliver customer-focused software solutions and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Participate in certification programs and skill enhancement sessions to remain technically proficient.
