Accenture is looking for seasoned professionals to join as Senior Managers in the role of Technology Consulting Practitioner, with a focus on SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting expertise. You will be responsible for leading engagements across the systems development lifecycle and playing a pivotal role in advising IT functions to ensure business-IT alignment. Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager – Technology Consulting Practitioner, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAP FI CO with a strategic mindset and deep domain knowledge.
- Providing expert advisory services and thought leadership to clients in finance transformation initiatives.
- Leading and influencing decision-making across multiple project teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborating with delivery teams to design and implement best-in-class SAP financial solutions.
- Facilitating workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement gathering sessions to shape business outcomes.
- Mentoring junior consultants, guiding them on methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
- Contributing to solution design, process reengineering, and system integration activities across large-scale SAP deployments.
- Advising clients on financial reporting, controlling processes, and compliance standards.
Professional and Technical Skills
Must-Have Skills:
- SAP FI CO (Finance and Controlling): Expert-level understanding of core SAP Finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance architecture, functionalities, and migration paths.
- Experience in financial reporting, process integration, and performance optimization.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Working knowledge of SAP MM (Materials Management) and how it integrates seamlessly with SAP FI for streamlined procurement and finance operations.
- Familiarity with inventory valuation, procure-to-pay (P2P) processes, and master data alignment.
- Understanding of data migration, cutover strategies, and testing protocols in SAP projects.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 15 years of full-time education (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related fields).
- 12 to 14 years of overall professional experience, with at least 15 years of hands-on experience in SAP FI CO implementations and rollouts.
- Extensive experience in managing comprehensive SAP transformation initiatives across global delivery environments.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
