We are on the lookout for a dynamic Senior Site Execution Engineer to spearhead the execution of major high-rise residential and commercial developments in Chennai. Primary Responsibilities
Project Supervision & Progress Monitoring
- Manage complete site execution in line with sanctioned designs and schedules.
- Foster coordination among contractors, consultants, architects, and internal project teams to ensure seamless workflow.
- Consistently oversee daily and weekly site activities, identifying potential delays or issues early and implementing timely solutions.
Quality Control & Safety Management
- Maintain stringent quality assurance throughout project phases.
- Develop and enforce robust Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) measures.
- Execute periodic inspections and internal audits to verify compliance with industry standards.
Team, Resource & Contractor Oversight
- Administer workforce, materials, plant, and equipment resources on site.
- Monitor contractor deliverables and ensure they meet contractual expectations.
- Anticipate resource needs and optimize allocation for project efficiency.
Cost Efficiency & Timeline Adherence
- Supervise adherence to project budgets and milestone schedules.
- Manage project cash flow and forecast expenditures to prevent financial overruns.
- Introduce corrective actions swiftly in response to delays or budget deviations.
Stakeholder Communication
- Act as the principal liaison for external stakeholders including architects, structural engineers, and MEP consultants.
- Provide consistent updates and detailed reports to senior leadership.
- Cultivate professional relationships to ensure collaborative execution.
Documentation and Legal Compliance
- Ensure meticulous upkeep of all project documentation such as reports, audits, and compliance records.
- Adhere to all legal and statutory requirements governing construction projects.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities for necessary clearances and permits.
Candidate Profile
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (essential).
- Experience:
- Over a decade of hands-on involvement in executing real estate construction projects.
- 5–8 years’ leadership in high-rise or expansive residential/commercial developments.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in construction processes and project management systems.
- Adept at analyzing and interpreting architectural and structural blueprints.
- Experienced in the use of project scheduling and tracking software.
- Leadership Qualities:
- Strong team leadership and performance management skills.
