🎓 Eligibility Criteria for AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2025
Candidates applying for the AAI Apprenticeship must fulfill the following educational and regional eligibility criteria:

1. Graduate Apprentices:
Qualification: Full-time 4-year degree in Engineering (relevant stream).

Recognition: Must be approved by AICTE/GOI.

Passing Year: 2023 or later.

2. Diploma Apprentices:
Qualification: Full-time 3-year diploma in Engineering (relevant stream).

Recognition: Recognized by AICTE/GOI.

Passing Year: 2023 or later.

3. ITI Trade Apprentices:
Qualification: ITI/NCVT certificate in relevant trades such as:

Computer Operator and Programming Assistant

Electrician

Mechanic

Electronics Technician

Recognition: Must be from institutions recognized by AICTE/GOI.

4. Regional Eligibility:
Only Indian nationals who are domiciled in the Eastern Region states are eligible.

West Bengal

Odisha

Bihar

Jharkhand

Chhattisgarh

Sikkim

Andaman & Nicobar Islands

📅 Age Limit
Upper age limit is 26 years, calculated as on 31st March 2025.

Age Relaxation:

SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates will receive age relaxation as per the Government of India rules and regulations.

The selection process for AAI Eastern Region Apprentice 2025 is purely merit-based and includes:

Shortlisting:

Determined by the candidate’s performance percentage in the qualifying academic examination

Tie-Breaking Criteria:

Seniority determined by date of birth and year of passing, if marks are equal.

Document Verification:

Shortlisted candidates will undergo a document verification round.

Medical Fitness:

Final selection is subject to medical fitness certification as per AAI standards.
