Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Consultant specializing in Workplace Engineering and Imaging Solutions to join our team in Noida. The ideal candidate will have between 4.5 to 8 years of professional experience in the domain of IT support, system administration, desktop and imaging solutions, and enterprise IT operations. The position involves working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and clients to ensure delivery of high-quality support services and continuous improvement in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

As a Consultant, you will be responsible for the following:

1. Performance Analysis and Reporting

  • Validate root cause analyses (RCA), trend analyses, and performance reports to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Prepare and analyze operational reports and service metrics to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to present analytical findings and support process enhancements.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all performance reports submitted.

2. Customer Engagement and Satisfaction

  • Participate actively in customer meetings to understand their challenges and expectations.
  • Provide prompt and effective responses to customer concerns and escalations.

3. Change Management and Capacity Planning

  • Review and validate change order implementation plans to ensure minimal risk and maximum efficiency.

  • Assist in capacity planning activities, ensuring resource availability aligns with project and operational needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams during change implementation to ensure business continuity.

4. Knowledge Sharing and Team Development

  • Mentor junior administrators and team members, fostering skill development and knowledge transfer.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning by conducting regular knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Contribute to internal forums, training workshops, and team improvement initiatives.

5. Ticket Management and SLA Compliance

  • Ensure on-time resolution of escalated incidents and service tickets as per agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain high standards of quality and compliance in all issue resolution processes.
  • Utilize industry best practices and root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
  • Monitor ticket queues, prioritize tasks efficiently, and ensure timely updates are provided to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Technical Proficiency

The role requires a strong understanding and hands-on experience in the following areas:

Primary Skill Area: DWP-WPE – Imaging Solutions

  • Experience with deployment and maintenance of desktop and imaging solutions across large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Proficiency in workplace engineering practices, particularly in managing Windows and macOS deployments.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM), Intune, and imaging technologies like MDT (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit).
  • Familiarity with automation scripts for imaging tasks using PowerShell or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of software packaging, patch management, and endpoint security best practices.

Additional Technical Competencies

  • Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy) for managing incidents and change requests.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, and user profile management.
  • Exposure to virtualization technologies such as VMware, Citrix, or Hyper-V is a plus.
  • Understanding of ITIL best practices and service management frameworks.
