Job Role: Faculty for BYJU’S Tuition Centre (Class 4-10)
We are looking for dynamic faculty members to join our BYJU’S Tuition Centres across India. The role will involve teaching students from class 4 to class 10 in subjects like Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. As a faculty member, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, interactive, and personalized learning experiences to students, ensuring that they not only grasp fundamental concepts but also enjoy the process of learning.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Faculty at BYJU’S Tuition Centre, you will be responsible for the following:
Teaching and Instruction:
Deliver engaging lessons in the respective subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Mathematics) for classes 4 to 10, following the curriculum and schedule.
Use interactive teaching methods, including digital tools, multimedia, and real-world applications, to make lessons more engaging and effective.
Ensure that all students understand the key concepts by providing clear explanations, real-life examples, and relevant applications.
Student Engagement and Support:
Monitor and maintain student discipline and positive behavior during classes, ensuring a productive learning environment.
Encourage active participation, promote curiosity, and foster a culture of questioning and exploration among students.
Offer one-on-one support to students during class to address individual doubts and concerns.
Actively monitor students’ academic progress and provide feedback on areas for improvement.
Homework and Assignments:
Discuss homework with students and ensure that it is understood and completed correctly.
Help students with any doubts related to assignments or projects and provide additional resources if necessary.
Track and report students’ progress regularly, identifying areas where students may need extra help or attention.
Student Progress Tracking:
Conduct regular assessments to gauge students’ understanding and academic progress.
Provide actionable feedback to students and parents, highlighting strengths and areas for growth.
Implement teaching strategies to improve students’ performance and ensure continuous learning.
Collaborating with the Team:
Work collaboratively with fellow faculty members, sharing resources, best practices, and teaching strategies to create a dynamic and efficient learning environment.
Stay updated with the latest educational trends, technological tools, and teaching methodologies to continuously improve the quality of education provided.
Employment Type: Full-Time | Work from Office (Offline)
This is a full-time position based in one of our BYJU’S Tuition Centres. As a faculty member, you will be expected to work directly with students in a classroom setting, creating a hands-on and interactive learning experience. This is an in-office role, and you will be required to work at the designated centre within your respective location.
Qualifications & Experience:
We are looking for professionals with a strong academic background, teaching experience, and a passion for helping students succeed. The ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications and experience:
Educational Qualifications:
B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/B.Sc/M.Sc/BDS/B.Ed or equivalent qualifications in the respective subject areas.
A strong academic record and a deep understanding of the subjects being taught (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics for grades 4-10).
Teaching Experience:
At least 1+ year of teaching experience, especially in Science or Mathematics, for students in grades 4 to 10.
Experience in teaching in both physical and digital learning environments is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong communication and explanation skills, with the ability to make complex concepts understandable for students.
Patience, resilience, and the ability to connect with students at different learning levels.
A passion for education and dedication to student success.
Familiarity with the National/State Curriculum and the ability to tailor lessons to meet students’ individual needs.
