Capgemini Invent is looking for an ambitious and goal–driven individual to be a part of its illustrious People Analytics Team as a Data Scientist – Senior Consultant. The ideal candidate must be a strategic mind who has strong data science practices, statistical insights, and machine learning techniques knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
•Implement advanced analytics and data science techniques to resolve sophisticated business issues.
•Build and deploy predictive models with machine learning algorithms like artificial neural networks, naive Bayes, support vector machines (SVM), and decision forests.
•Collaborate with data scientists and cross-functional teams to conceptualize and implement analytical solutions.
•Apply generative AI methods to improve data analysis and predictive insight.
•Use programming languages like Python, R, and SQL to manipulate and analyze large-scale datasets.
•Develop on large data platforms and utilize PySpark for efficient data processing.
•Deploy and implement data science models on cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
•Perform exploratory data analysis, statistical testing, and develop regression models for predictive analytics.
•Deliver data-driven suggestions and provide analytical results to the major stakeholders using data visualization tools.
•Utilize text analytics and Natural Language Processing (NLP) for extracting insights and sentiment analysis.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate must have a combination of robust technical skills, problem-solving skills, and analytical skills. Important qualifications are:
• Ability in applied statistics, such as statistical distributions, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis.
• Familiarity with popular machine learning libraries, including Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Keras, and TensorFlow.
• Solid knowledge in data manipulation and transformation through SQL, PL/SQL, and PySpark.
• Big data analytics experience, dealing with large structured and unstructured datasets.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new programming languages, tools, and platforms as required.
• Familiarity with HR and people analytics is a plus but not mandatory.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to interpret and present data insights to non-technical stakeholders, making data-driven decisions accessible and actionable.
