Key Responsibilities of a Data Science Team Member:
As a member of our data science team, you will be working on high-impact projects with structured and unstructured data.
Your key responsibilities are:
Research & Analysis: Read background literature and related research papers to learn about intricate problem domains.
Data Engineering: Process, clean, and validate data integrity to ready it for modeling and analysis.
Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Conduct ad-hoc data visualization and analysis to gain insights and inform decision-making.
Machine Learning Model Development: Create predictive ML models with technologies like PySpark, Scikit-learn, Keras, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
Deployment & Pipeline Management: Engage in data pipelines for deploying ML models using Oracle DataFlow and other such tools.
Post-Deployment Monitoring: Perform performance analysis on deployed models to maintain efficiency and accuracy for business applications.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
To excel in this position, applicants should have the following skills and experience:
Technical Expertise:
✔ Knowledge of Machine Learning (ML): Solid background in ML principles, algorithms, and model building.
✔ Python & PySpark Programming: Solid programming and software development skills in Python and PySpark.
✔ Big Data Processing: Hands-on experience with large-scale data processing using distributed computing environments such as Spark.
✔ Data Preprocessing & Engineering: Capability to clean, transform, and prepare data for predictive modeling.
✔ Experience in ML Model Deployment: Familiarity with cloud-based ML model deployment and monitoring methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
✅ Industry Experience: Relevant work experience in data science, predictive modeling, or AI-powered analytics is greatly preferred.
✅ Spark & Distributed Computing: Having hands-on experience working with Spark-based environments is an advantage.
✅ Time-Series & NLP: Having time-series forecasting, natural language processing (NLP), or large language models (LLMs) experience is an advantage.

Interaction with Business Teams:
This position entails direct interaction with product and service groups to determine important questions and challenges for data analysis. You will be required to create and apply scalable data science solutions to enable business efficiency.

Creating and writing software programs, algorithms, and automated data processes.
Converting, sanitizing, and analyzing large amounts of data from various sources.
Determining meaningful insights from unstructured and structured data sources.
Communicating complex data findings and recommendations to business stakeholders.
