Quality Management Professional – Electronics, Telecommunication, or Computer Applications Background
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Management Professional with expertise in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and a strong focus on delivery, process improvement, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have a background in Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Applications (MCA), or Engineering (B.E), and possess solid experience in leading quality management initiatives across diverse portfolios. This role is ideal for professionals with a passion for driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance, and fostering high-performance cultures across organizations.
Key Requirements:
Experience: 8-12 years in quality management and delivery management, with at least 3-5 years of direct experience in delivery leadership roles.
Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Telecommunication (preferred) or any Engineering specialization (B.E.), or a Master’s in Computer Applications (MCA).
Skills: Extensive knowledge of SDLC methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Testing, and their implementation within the development lifecycle. Expertise in quality management with exposure to frameworks like ISO, CMMI, ITIL, ETOM, Agile/DevOps. Relevant certifications in these methodologies are a strong advantage.
Certifications: Six Sigma, Lean, or Total Quality Management (TQM) certifications are a plus.

Analytical Skills: Strong expertise in Defect Prevention, Risk Management, Estimation, and Configuration Management, with a focus on process improvement and innovation.
Project Management: Solid experience in project planning, tracking, monitoring, and defining software metrics for data analysis.
Process Audits and Improvement: Skilled in process audits, root cause analysis (RCA), and identifying areas for improvement in project and development processes.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams, delivery leaders, and stakeholders.
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Quality Management Professional, your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the entire SDLC process, ensuring compliance with established quality management systems (QMS), and driving continual improvements across your assigned portfolio. Specific duties include:
Ensuring Compliance Across Development Life Cycle:
You will review and ensure that the entire development life cycle adheres to QMS processes, including project planning, monitoring performance against goals (GOALs), SLA & KPI monitoring, configuration management, and risk management practices.
Regularly track and review key metrics to ensure compliance and successful project execution.
Customization and Implementation of Quality Strategy:
Develop and implement customized quality strategies for assigned portfolios while aligning with delivery leaders’ and stakeholders’ expectations.
Ensure the strategy fosters continuous improvement, enhances customer satisfaction, and drives the right outcomes.
Customer Satisfaction Monitoring and Improvement Actions:
You will work closely with clients to monitor customer satisfaction levels and identify areas for improvement. This involves facilitating action planning and implementing improvements that boost customer satisfaction.
Implement actionable insights based on feedback and ensure that customer concerns are addressed promptly.
Risk Management and Mitigation:
Establish and drive risk management initiatives within the portfolio. This includes early risk identification, timely mitigation strategies, and effective reporting.
Ensure that any potential risks are appropriately managed, reducing the likelihood of project disruptions.
Governance and Performance Reporting:
Oversee and facilitate the delivery governance process, ensuring that internal and external performance reporting is effectively carried out for applicable projects, programs, and portfolios.
You will ensure the consistent collection and review of health reports, capturing key metrics that help drive performance improvements.
Facilitating and Mentoring Teams:
As a mentor and facilitator, you will guide project teams through the processes required at different stages of the SDLC. This includes coaching teams on best practices for project management, SDLC implementation, and quality management.
Your role will involve continuous training and knowledge sharing to uplift the team’s capabilities and ensure adherence to best practices.
Driving Continuous Improvement:
Lead initiatives to identify continuous improvement opportunities within the organization. This includes facilitating the identification of automation opportunities and optimizing processes for greater efficiency.
Implement strategies for process innovation and enhancement that contribute to reducing cycle time, increasing productivity, and improving the quality of service delivery.
Metrics Analysis and SLA Monitoring:
Drive a culture of management by metrics within the organization, facilitating the use of data to drive decisions. This involves monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met, and tracking the overall performance of projects.
Use metrics analysis to proactively address potential issues and implement corrective actions.
Contract Review and Commitment Tracking:
Review contracts before sign-off, ensuring that all contractual commitments are clearly understood and tracked effectively.
Ensure that the project teams can meet these commitments through effective planning and monitoring.
Facilitating the Closure of Audit and Assessment Findings:
Ensure that internal and external audit findings are effectively addressed by the delivery teams. You will be responsible for guiding teams in closing out audit and assessment findings in a timely and efficient manner.
Domain Experience:
Experience in specific domains is preferred, including:
BFSI (Banking/Financial Services/Insurance) – Experience with financial systems, banking operations, or insurance services will be highly valued.
NS (Network Services) – Knowledge and expertise in network services, especially in telecommunications, will be advantageous.
IES/TES (Engineering Services/Telecommunication Engineering Services) – Expertise in engineering services related to telecommunications and technology solutions would be an asset.
