About the Role

As a Vision Data Scientist, you will be responsible for leading the development and deployment of computer vision solutions integrated with IoT ecosystems. Key Responsibilities

Design and Develop Vision Algorithms: Create deep learning and traditional image processing algorithms to analyze, interpret, and classify visual data from static images and video streams.

Model Training and Optimization: Train, validate, and fine-tune vision-based machine learning models using large datasets from edge devices and cloud systems.

Data Pipeline Development: Build scalable data pipelines for ingesting, preprocessing, storing, and analyzing video and image data from various sources.

Required Skills and Technical Expertise

Core Competencies

Deep Learning & Machine Vision: Strong expertise in computer vision libraries (OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, YOLO, SSD, etc.)
Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python (preferred), C++, or Java for ML and vision-based development.
Edge AI & IoT Integration: Experience in integrating vision models with IoT devices and edge computing platforms.
Image/Video Analytics: Proven ability to work with object detection, tracking, segmentation, and classification.
Model Optimization: Knowledge of model compression techniques for edge inference—quantization, pruning, TensorRT, ONNX.
