Job Summary:
As a Product Consultant specializing in Murex, you will be responsible for implementing and customizing advanced Murex functionalities to support financial institutions’ trading and risk management operations. The successful candidate will be deeply involved in the design, integration, and optimization of Murex-based solutions. A strong understanding of Market and Reference Data Services, Order Management, Trade and Allocation processes, and Investment and Fund Accounting is essential for this role.
You will collaborate closely with clients to align technical implementations with business needs, ensuring efficient operations and seamless integration. This role is well-suited for a self-driven expert passionate about fintech solutions and delivering client-centric implementations.
Key Responsibilities:

Murex MxML Integration:
Lead end-to-end implementation of Murex MxML solutions to support seamless trading workflows and system automation. -
Front Office Customization:
Oversee the configuration and deployment of Murex Front Office tools tailored to individual client requirements, enhancing operational efficiency. -
Client Collaboration:
Engage with stakeholders to understand functional needs and translate them into scalable Murex solutions that support front-to-back trading systems. -
System Testing & Validation:
Conduct rigorous unit, system, and regression testing to ensure the reliability, stability, and accuracy of implemented solutions. -
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain detailed documentation for Murex customizations, including process flows, configuration manuals, test scripts, and data mapping. -
Ongoing Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide level-2/3 support for Murex-related issues, addressing user concerns, debugging integration failures, and minimizing downtime. -
Training & Enablement:
Lead internal and external training sessions to promote knowledge transfer and adoption of best practices for Murex systems. -
Data Services Management:
Administer Market and Reference Data Services for reliable and up-to-date data processing across trading and compliance platforms. -
Order & Trade Management:
Implement robust Order Management processes and oversee trade allocation functionalities to ensure transparency and compliance. -
Fund Accounting Oversight:
Ensure Investment and Fund Accounting processes align with regulatory guidelines and client expectations, minimizing reporting discrepancies.
Core Technical Skills & Domain Expertise:

Murex MxMLExchange Expertise:
Proven experience with Murex Data Dictionary, Tasks, Templates, and Formulae within the MxML Exchange ecosystem. -
Datamart Proficiency:
Strong knowledge in Datamart dynamic tables, data feeders, extraction logic, and processing scripts to support advanced reporting. -
System Access & Rights Management:
In-depth understanding of STP rights, access permissions, and Global Operating Model configurations in Murex. -
Pre-Trade Rule Management:
Familiarity with setting up and applying Pre-Trade rules, pricing models, closing processes, and booking sequences. -
Accounting & Static Data Setup:
Experience with Murex Accounting rules, static account scripts, and setup of counterparties and portfolios for seamless operations. -
Log Analysis & Service Management:
Ability to analyze Murex logs and system services, troubleshoot integration issues, and optimize performance across modules. -
MX OpenConnect Knowledge (Preferred):
Familiarity with MX OpenConnect for extended integration flexibility is a plus. -
Technical Stack:
