Key Responsibilities

As a Java Developer, you will:

Develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable and high-performance Java applications using Spring Boot and Microservices frameworks.
Collaborate with business analysts, software architects, DevOps engineers, and other developers to design software solutions that meet customer requirements.
Participate in agile software development practices, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to improve system performance and user experience.

Must-Have Skills and Experience

Eligibility for this role requires the candidate to demonstrate the following qualifications:

Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Java development (Candidates with 3–12 years of experience may apply based on project complexity).
Proficiency in Java 8+ with in-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
Practical expertise in working with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security frameworks.
Strong understanding of Microservices architecture, including service decomposition, API gateway patterns, and containerized deployment.
Proven experience in working with cloud environments like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Working knowledge of Eclipse IDE, including debugging, plugin integration, and project setup.
Exposure to version control systems like Git and familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
Basic knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, including writing complex queries and stored procedures.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development methodologies.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with a proactive approach to resolving technical challenges.

Preferred Skills

While not mandatory, the following skills will provide candidates with a competitive edge:

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Working knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration systems such as Kubernetes.
Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.
Understanding of security principles, encryption, and secure API design.
Exposure to DevOps tools and practices.
Strong command of software design patterns and principles such as SOLID, DRY, and KISS.

Educational Qualifications

A Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is mandatory.
