Position Overview: Cyber Security Analyst – L4
We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Analyst – L4 to enhance our cybersecurity operations at Wipro’s Pune location. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, threat monitoring, risk analysis, and AWS security services. This role plays a critical function in securing organizational data, identifying vulnerabilities, and proactively mitigating risks to protect enterprise assets.
Key Responsibilities
🔒 Cybersecurity Monitoring & Incident Response
- Continuously observe security systems to identify and respond to suspicious, unauthorized, or anomalous activities.
- Analyze logs and perform forensic investigations to uncover the source and impact of security incidents.
- Utilize advanced analytics tools to identify emerging threat vectors and potential vulnerabilities.
- Conduct detailed root cause analysis and risk assessments for all identified threats.
- Provide actionable insights and remedial measures following any security breach.
- Handle and respond to escalated incidents from the L1 team in a 24×7 rotational shift environment.
🛡️ Security Operations & Remediation
- Safeguard critical data, systems, and infrastructure by implementing continuous threat detection strategies.
- Ensure strict adherence to SLAs for response and resolution times.
- Review attack patterns, assess system weaknesses, and develop proactive defense mechanisms.
- Lead tactical security tasks and maintain up-to-date documentation of all incidents, responses, and outcomes.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive security reports and dashboards to internal stakeholders.
🗂️ Stakeholder Coordination & Audit Support
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders regarding cybersecurity matters and best practices.
- Support internal audits and maintain a risk register aligned with corporate information security policies.
- Contribute to the development of compliance documents aligned with security frameworks and support audit preparedness efforts.
- Provide data and insights during third-party audits and contribute to the continual improvement of security protocols.
🎓 Training, Awareness & Guidance
- Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness training programs for internal teams.
- Educate employees about safe email practices, phishing awareness, and spam handling.
- Offer expert advice on potential cyber risks and recommend preventive measures.
- Create educational material and knowledge resources to promote a secure work culture.
