Role Overview
As a Record to Report Ops Specialist, you will take the lead in managing financial close processes, journal postings, account reconciliations, and financial reporting activities. The role is part of the Finance Operations vertical, which plays a pivotal role in delivering accurate, timely, and actionable insights to support strategic financial decisions.
Your primary focus will include ensuring compliance with accounting standards, supporting audit processes, and maintaining the integrity of financial records. This is a Team Lead/Consultant-level role that also includes overseeing a small team, mentoring junior professionals, and interacting with clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
This position requires in-depth knowledge of account reconciliations, sharp analytical abilities, and a solution-oriented mindset to address challenges proactively. Below are the core responsibilities:
1. Financial Accounting and Reconciliation

Perform end-to-end reconciliation of accounts as part of the Record to Report process.

Ensure journal entries are posted accurately and on time.

Prepare, review, and finalize balance sheet account reconciliations.

Manage general ledger processes in compliance with internal and external financial regulations.
2. Month-End and Year-End Close Support

Facilitate timely month-end and year-end closures.

Prepare and support the generation of cash flow forecasting statements.

Conduct variance analysis to ensure integrity of financial statements.
3. Audit Support

Prepare and present detailed documentation and analytical insights to support both internal and external audit processes.

Ensure that all audit queries are resolved efficiently and effectively.

Maintain process documentation to support audit readiness.
4. Reporting and Analysis

Generate regular and on-demand financial reports that deliver meaningful insights to support informed decision-making.
