Overview of the Role

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will play a critical role within Accenture’s Finance Operations division. The position is ideal for finance professionals who are detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about driving financial performance through structured analysis and forecasting. The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for budgeting, variance analysis, financial forecasting, and other strategic financial tasks aimed at enhancing decision-making and supporting Accenture’s broader business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

As an FP&A Analyst at Accenture, you will:

  • Assist in financial planning processes, including forecasting, budgeting, and scenario modeling to aid business decisions.

  • Analyze financial outcomes by collecting and interpreting data from various operational reports and systems.

  • Perform budget formulation and variance analysis to identify trends, gaps, and areas of financial opportunity.

  • Collaborate with peers to reconcile transactions, generate performance reports, and enhance financial reporting structures.

  • Support the development and continuous improvement of planning models, templates, and dashboards.

  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and regulatory standards in all reporting and planning activities.

  • Provide supervisors with precise and prompt financial analysis to aid in informed strategic decision-making.

  • Operate primarily as an individual contributor but within a collaborative team framework.


Ideal Candidate Profile

Success in this position requires the candidate to exhibit the following qualities and competencies:

Educational Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) from a recognized university or institution is mandatory.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, or reporting.

  • Experience in multinational corporate environments or professional services firms is preferred.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Solid understanding of financial planning and analysis methodologies.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting tools, and variance analysis.

  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

  • Excellent Excel and data management skills; familiarity with ERP tools like SAP or Oracle is a plus.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with internal stakeholders.

  • Capable of handling moderately guided financial tasks and resolving low-complexity issues independently.

    Comfortable working in rotational shifts as required by the role.
