Overview

L&T Precision Engineering & Systems is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Associate General Manager – Design & Development to lead and drive the control systems engineering initiatives at its state-of-the-art Hazira Manufacturing Complex. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Control Engineering, complemented by 10 to 15 years of core experience in designing and developing advanced electro-mechanical and electro-hydraulic control systems for defence and aerospace applications.

Core Responsibilities

As AGM – Design & Development, you will be entrusted with the end-to-end ownership of control system design projects, primarily for defence sector applications. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Control Systems Engineering

  • Lead the design, development, and validation of control systems for advanced defence platforms.

  • Develop mathematical models to simulate dynamic behavior of electro-mechanical and electro-hydraulic systems.

  • Design and tune feedback control systems for equipment such as:

Eligibility Criteria

  • Education:

    • Mandatory: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)

    • At least 3–5 years in defence-related control applications
