Overview
L&T Precision Engineering & Systems is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Associate General Manager – Design & Development to lead and drive the control systems engineering initiatives at its state-of-the-art Hazira Manufacturing Complex. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Control Engineering, complemented by 10 to 15 years of core experience in designing and developing advanced electro-mechanical and electro-hydraulic control systems for defence and aerospace applications.

Core Responsibilities
As AGM – Design & Development, you will be entrusted with the end-to-end ownership of control system design projects, primarily for defence sector applications. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Control Systems Engineering

Lead the design, development, and validation of control systems for advanced defence platforms.

Develop mathematical models to simulate dynamic behavior of electro-mechanical and electro-hydraulic systems.

Design and tune feedback control systems for equipment such as:

Armoured fighting vehicle (AFV) turret stabilization

Missile and rocket launcher systems

2. Simulation & Stability Analysis

Conduct thorough stability studies using control theory fundamentals.

3. Algorithm Design & Development

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

Mandatory: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)
