Position Summary
As an EPM Consultant in the CFO & Enterprise Value vertical, you will lead or support end-to-end implementation of financial consolidation and reporting solutions. You’ll apply accounting principles, data modeling, and EPM technologies to streamline enterprise-wide financial planning, consolidation, and reporting functions.
This role is ideal for candidates who have prior hands-on experience with consolidation tools like Oracle FCCS, OneStream, Tagetik, SAP Group Reporting (GR), SAC, Workiva, or Anaplan.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or support financial consolidation design, testing, and implementation phases.
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to capture business requirements.
- Apply financial knowledge to translate requirements into functional and technical design.
- Design and configure consolidation solutions using tools such as Oracle EPM, OneStream, or Tagetik.
- Perform data conversion and reconciliation during migrations.
- Create high-quality deliverables, including design documentation, test plans, training materials, and procedural guides.
- Address application and functional process issues through innovative solutions.
- Lead and coordinate workstreams such as UAT, training, or application testing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of financial consolidation, accounting principles, and closing cycles.
- Minimum of 3–5 years relevant experience with at least 2–3 end-to-end EPM/Consolidation implementations.
- Hands-on expertise in at least one consolidation tool: Oracle FCCS/HFM, OneStream, SAP GR, Tagetik, or Workiva.
- Solid knowledge of data mapping, conversions, and reconciliations.
- Skilled in translating intricate financial workflows into structured, scalable design frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in team-oriented environments and manage client interactions.
Good to Have:
- Familiarity with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) frameworks and methodologies.
- Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience with related Oracle modules such as HFM, FDMEE, HFR.
- Knowledge of cloud migration strategies and digital finance transformation initiatives.
Educational Background
- Preferred Qualifications: MBA in Finance, Chartered Accountant (CA), or Cost Management Accountant (CMA)
