Role Overview

As an Application Designer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD). You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and analysts to translate business needs into robust technical solutions. This role demands both hands-on development and architectural design expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and application architecture.
• Design complex workflows, SLAs, security rules, and UI components (Service Portal, Classic UI, Agent Workspace).
• Develop and manage inbound and outbound integrations, including scripted REST APIs and Integration Hub.
• Convert functional business needs into precise technical documentation and actionable user stories.
• Lead development teams by offering guidance, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior developers.
• Troubleshoot advanced issues related to integrations, data imports, and workflow processes.
• Drive cloud migration projects and ensure seamless implementation of ServiceNow HR modules.

Required Professional Skills

Applicants should demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

• Extensive hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules, particularly HR Service Delivery (HRSD), Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, and Request Fulfillment.
• Experience in designing and implementing custom scripted REST APIs.
• Comprehensive knowledge of scripting on both the server and client sides within the ServiceNow environment.
• Solid knowledge of ITIL v3/v4 and general service management principles.
• Experience upgrading ServiceNow instances and implementing new features across platform versions.
• Ability to create detailed technical documentation, process diagrams, and architectural charts.
• Familiarity with UI policies, business rules, script includes, and ACLs.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certification (HRSD, ITSM, or CSM).
