Eligibility Criteria
Assistant Professor (Medical Disciplines)
- Educational Qualification: MBBS with MD/MS or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
- Experience:
- 3 years teaching/research experience in broad specialties after MD/MS.
- For super-specialties: DM/M.Ch (2 or 5 years course) with 1-year experience OR DM/M.Ch (3 or 6 years course) with no additional experience.
- DNB/DrNB Candidates:
- Must have undergone training in a 500+ bedded hospital; otherwise, one year of senior residency in an NMC-recognized institution is mandatory.
Assistant Professor (Non-Medical Disciplines)
- Qualification: Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with a Ph.D.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of teaching/research in a recognized institution in disciplines such as Biostatistics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Clinical Psychology, Medical Physics, Physiology, etc.
Tutor (College of Nursing)
- Qualification: B.Sc. Nursing degree or equivalent along with valid registration as a Nurse and Midwife, supplemented by a Sister Tutor’s Diploma.
- Experience: At least 3 years of teaching in a recognized nursing institution.
- Registration: Must be a registered nurse and midwife under the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
- Note: SC/ST candidates may be given up to 1 year of relaxation in experience at the discretion of the competent authority.
Selection Process
For Assistant Professor
