Role Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the implementation and optimization of SAP IBP solutions across various industries, helping businesses streamline their supply chain operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP IBP modules, analyze data flows, and drive improvements in supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead SAP IBP Implementations: Oversee and guide the successful implementation of SAP IBP modules to enhance business processes and operational efficiency.
Integration Management: Ensure the smooth integration of SAP IBP SDI and CPI-DS for accurate data flow across various business systems, enabling real-time decision-making.
Supply Chain Monitoring: Use SAP IBP Control Tower to track and optimize the performance of the supply chain, managing both inbound and outbound operations effectively.
Order-Based Planning: Drive SAP IBP Order-based Planning to ensure precise order fulfillment, optimize inventory, and reduce costs associated with carrying excess stock.
Supply and TS Optimization: Implement SAP IBP Supply & TS Optimizer to maximize the efficiency of supply chain planning, helping businesses meet demand while minimizing excess inventory.
Inventory Management: Manage SAP IBP Inventory to maintain optimal stock levels across various channels, reduce carrying costs, and ensure timely product availability.
Demand Planning: Implement SAP IBP Demand Planning to enhance forecasting accuracy, ensuring that production and procurement align closely with customer demand patterns.
S&OP Processes: Facilitate SAP IBP S&OP processes, aligning supply chain operations with the company’s overall business strategy to enhance decision-making and agility.
End-User Training and Support: Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to end-users, ensuring effective utilization of SAP IBP tools to drive business results.
Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP IBP modules promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
Documentation and Best Practices: Maintain detailed documentation of SAP IBP processes and configurations, while staying updated with best practices to continuously improve solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest SAP IBP developments, integrating new features and updates into the organization’s planning processes.
Qualifications
Experience: At least 7-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP IBP, with a focus on SAP IBP SDI, CPI-DS, Control Tower, Order-based Planning, Supply & TS Optimizer, Inventory, Demand, and S&OP modules.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve complex supply chain challenges using data-driven insights.
Collaboration: Exceptional communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring successful project delivery and outcomes.
End-User Training: Proven experience in training and supporting end-users, helping them leverage SAP IBP functionalities effectively.
Knowledge of Pricing and Data Management: A strong understanding of pricing optimization and updating customer master data within SAP IBP.
Proactive Learning: A commitment to keeping up with the latest SAP IBP trends, tools, and best practices.
Certifications Required
SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Integrated Business Planning or equivalent certification.
