🔍 About the Role: Functional Manager – SAP SuccessFactors (Onboarding Module)
In this pivotal role, you’ll manage the delivery and functional oversight of the SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding module, ensuring IBM’s systems meet business needs and global standards. As part of IBM’s HR Technology, Data & AI organization, your contributions will directly impact the company’s global onboarding process.

You’ll collaborate with HR stakeholders, developers, architects, and other specialists to streamline, automate, and optimize the onboarding lifecycle—offering a seamless experience for every new IBMer.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities
As the Functional Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

SAP Solution Management: Lead the functional configuration, integration testing, and deployment of the onboarding module in SAP SuccessFactors.

Business Process Alignment: Ensure alignment between technical solutions and IBM’s HR business processes, data standards, and user experience expectations.

Risk Management: Proactively manage risks that may impact service levels, operational continuity, or solution delivery timelines.

Documentation & Compliance: Oversee and review Solution Documentation to ensure compliance with SAP implementation standards and guidelines.

Transition to Sustainment: Facilitate the knowledge transfer process post-deployment to ensure long-term system support and sustainability.

Stakeholder Engagement: Create communication plans, conduct training sessions, and provide strategic input on SAP updates, support stacks, and service packs.

Continuity Planning: Support contingency planning efforts to ensure uninterrupted HR service delivery in case of technical outages.

📚 Educational Qualifications
Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, or related field

Preferred: Additional certifications in SAP SuccessFactors or HRIS project management are a plus

✅ Required Skills and Expertise
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

Strong knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding module

Understanding of SAP Activate Methodology

Hands-on experience with end-to-end SAP development and deployment processes

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to analyze, plan, and execute cross-functional HR technology initiatives

💡 Preferred Competencies
Experience managing SAP implementations in a global organization

Strong organizational and documentation skills
