Key Responsibilities
Your job as a technical support engineer at Microsoft is diverse and critical in ensuring customer happiness and success. Listed below are your main duties:
1. Customer Response and Technical Resolution

Own customer issues completely and push resolution with a customer-centric focus.

in-depth technical expertise and tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues successfully.

3. Product Feedback and Innovation
• Engage with Microsoft Engineering and Product Supportability teams to report issues, product bugs, or inefficiencies.

4. Readiness and Continuous Improvement

Participate in regular technical training and certifications to stay ahead of industry trends and Microsoft products.

Required Qualifications
To be eligible for the technical support engineer position, you should satisfy any one of the below requirements:
• Bachelor
s degree in computer science, information technology, or similar discipline AND 1+ year technical support, IT consulting, or similar IT experience.
• OR 3+ 
direct years of technical support, technical consulting, or IT services experience.
• OR equivalent 
hands-on experience within a similar technical field.
Language Requirement:
• 
English proficiency—spoken, written, and reading comprehension—is required.

All applicants should be capable of meeting Microsofthigh security screening standards. This entails passing the Microsoft Cloud Background Check at the time of transfer or hireand re-screening every two years thereafter.
