Introduction

Role Overview
In the role of Senior RF Hardware Engineer, you will be instrumental in transforming innovative RF design concepts into reliable, real-world solutions. Your expertise will contribute to RF front-end design, prototyping, PCB layout, validation, and certification processes. Key Responsibilities
1. RF & Microwave Circuit Design

Design, develop, and optimize RF and microwave circuits, including amplifiers, filters, mixers, couplers, oscillators, power dividers, and antennas.

Ensure high-frequency PCB designs comply with performance and manufacturing standards.

Collaborate with hardware teams for schematic capture and PCB layout.
2. Simulation & Analysis
-
Conduct advanced simulations using Keysight ADS, Ansys HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, or equivalent tools.

Perform link budgeting, Smith chart analysis, and impedance matching.

Perform detailed evaluation of RF performance through S-parameter measurements and refinements.
3. Testing & Validation
-
Validate designs through hands-on prototyping, lab testing, and debugging.

Operate test equipment such as Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, and Communication Analyzers.

Conduct detailed transmitter chain testing: ACLR, EVM, CCDF, frequency error, occupied bandwidth, and emission testing.

Verify receiver chain performance: gain, noise figure, dynamic range, blocking resilience, and out-of-band rejection.
4. Conformance & Certification

Perform protocol conformance testing (PCT) and radio conformance testing (RCT).

Support compliance with international regulatory standards such as FCC, CE, and other industry certifications.

Document test results, generate design reports, and prepare datasheets for review.
5. System Integration & Troubleshooting

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration of RF designs with digital, analog, and software modules.

Tune and refine wireless interfaces to deliver optimal reliability and top-tier performance.

Troubleshoot complex RF-related issues and propose engineering solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
