Key Responsibilities

The Talent Acquisition Onboarding Team Member will handle end-to-end onboarding responsibilities, ensuring every new hire has a positive start. Key responsibilities include:

1. Candidate Engagement and Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during the pre-boarding and onboarding phases.

  • Provide guidance, answer queries, and support candidates throughout the transition process.

2. Onboarding Coordination

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding workflow, including welcome emails, contingency launch and monitoring, and scheduling orientation.

  • Oversee Day 1 activities such as issuing offer letters, orientation schedules, and reporting instructions.

3. Background and Compliance Checks

  • Select the appropriate background check (BG) package based on role, location, and job code.

  • Order relevant drug tests (DT) as per compliance requirements.

  • Review BG and DT results to provide clearance for final hiring.

4. System Updates and Documentation

  • Update candidate profiles in Workday and mark them as “Ready for Hire.”

  • Maintain accurate onboarding records, update checklists, and prepare regular onboarding reports.

  • Ensure compliance with company standards and HR policies.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Advisors, Hiring Managers, and Business Units to coordinate smooth onboarding experiences.

  • Ensure that all parties are aligned on timelines, requirements, and processes.

6. Communication and Orientation

  • Send Day 1 emails to candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers with clear instructions on reporting, ID verification, badging, and I-9 requirements.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to conduct orientation and induction programs.
