About the Role

Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited invites applications for the role of Senior Analyst – Senior Developer within its CoRe Business Solutions (CBS) team. This position sits at the intersection of technology innovation and business solutions, where you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying advanced SharePoint-based and web-enabled solutions for Deloitte’s global network.

As part of the Digital Customer Solutions (DCS) group, you will collaborate with diverse teams worldwide, delivering customized technical solutions that address strategic business needs in marketing, communications, knowledge management, learning & development, and process automation.

You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and technologies including Microsoft SharePoint (on-premises and cloud), HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, REST/SOAP API, JSON, Nintex, Kendo, Azure, Power Apps/Flows, ReactJS, and more. Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Developer in the CBS team, you will:

1. SharePoint Solution Development

  • Design, develop, and customize SharePoint solutions to meet specific organizational requirements.

  • Build custom web parts, features, workflows, and site layouts to enhance business processes.

  • Utilize SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and other development tools to modify site appearance and functionality.

2. Deployment & Integration

  • Deploy SharePoint solutions with minimal disruption to live services.

  • Integrate with various data sources and business systems using REST/SOAP APIs and JSON.

  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure seamless solution rollouts.

3. Quality Assurance & Testing

  • Conduct thorough unit and integration testing to ensure reliability, performance, and compatibility across devices and browsers.

  • Debug code and resolve defects efficiently.

4. Technical Leadership

  • Act as lead developer for assigned projects.

  • Assign tasks to junior developers and oversee progress.

  • Provide technical mentorship to less experienced team members.

5. Documentation & Training

  • Maintain detailed documentation of SharePoint architecture, configurations, and custom developments.

  • Create user manuals, FAQs, and training materials to help end-users maximize system functionality.

6. Azure DevOps & Agile Practices

  • Manage user stories, backlog items, and workflows using Azure DevOps.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure timely delivery of development tasks.

7. Compliance & Security

  • Adhere to industry best practices and data security standards.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal and organizational data usage regulations.


Technical Skill Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • SharePoint Expertise:

    • Minimum 3+ years (advanced technical experience) in SharePoint 2013 / 2016 / 2019 and Office 365 / SharePoint Online.

    • Strong knowledge of SharePoint On-Prem and Online development, customization, and administration.

  • Web Development Skills:

    • Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, ReactJS, Bootstrap, CSS3.

    • Experience with Kendo components, Adobe XD, and Figma for UI/UX design.

  • Workflow Automation:

    • Hands-on experience with Nintex Forms and Nintex Workflow for creating business process automation.

    • PowerApps and Power Automate (Flow) development skills for form customization and workflow implementation.

  • Integration & APIs:

    • Strong understanding of REST, SOAP, CSOM, and JSOM for custom solution development.

  • Migration Tools:

    • Experience using Sharegate, Metalogix, or SPMT for data and application migration between SharePoint environments.

  • Version Control:

    • Knowledge of Git and Azure Repos for code management and collaboration.
