Position Overview

As a Salesforce Application Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and delivering end-to-end Salesforce solutions. You will be responsible for providing technical leadership, defining architectural standards, and ensuring the seamless integration of Salesforce applications with business processes.

You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to align architectural designs with strategic goals, optimize performance, and deliver solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Lead Salesforce Architectural Design
  • Provide strategic and technical leadership for Salesforce applications, focusing on Force.com, Lightning Components, and Einstein Analytics (Tableau Analytics).
  • Define technical evaluation criteria for product and technology selection, ensuring a unified and coherent systems design.
• Drive End-to-End Project Leadership
  • Oversee the technical design process, including the creation of class models, sequence diagrams, and component models.
  • Ensure adherence to architectural standards throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Innovate Through Research & Development
  • Engage in R&D, prototyping, and vendor/product evaluations to identify the most effective tools and approaches.
  • Apply emerging technologies to drive productivity and innovation.
• Collaborate Across Teams
  • Partner with mobile application teams to define technology strategy, standards, and roadmaps.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice adoption across development teams.
• Ensure Solution Excellence
  • Validate non-functional technical requirements and maintain traceability between requirements, architecture, and design.
  • Lead troubleshooting and production “War Room” activities when required.
• Promote Operational Excellence
  • Foster a culture of accountability, execution, and continuous improvement.
  • Actively seek and implement strategies to speed up delivery timelines, enhance solution quality, and optimize cost efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Skills

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Experience & Certification
  • Minimum of 10+ years of Salesforce design and development experience, with at least 1–2 Enterprise full lifecycle Architect project deliveries.
  • Salesforce Certified – Administrator and Developer certifications, plus one or more Architect Designer certifications.
• Technical Expertise
  • Strong command of Apex, Visualforce, Java, JavaScript, and XML for cloud solution development.
  • Practical, hands-on experience deploying Salesforce configurations, building Apex classes, creating Visualforce pages, and integrating AppExchange solutions.
  • Proficiency in Force.com, Salesforce integration methods, and Lightning design and development.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce Clouds and integration strategies.
• Architecture & Development Skills
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce architectural concepts, including API limits and governor limits.
  • Expertise in data modeling techniques, database design, and normalization.
  • Experience defining IT architecture plans and applying software development methodologies.
• Methodologies & Tools
  • Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM development environments.
  • Proven track record working with Einstein Analytics (Tableau Analytics) and delivering advanced solutions using Lightning development.
  • Strong capabilities in executing data migration plans, managing automated build processes, and leveraging testing frameworks to ensure quality.
• Soft Skills & Leadership
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to think creatively, solve problems effectively, and lead cross-functional teams toward common objectives.
  • Proven track record of promoting innovation and driving change within complex environments.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following will be advantageous:

• SaaS or packaged software delivery experience.
• Strong data migration expertise.
• Event-driven and delegate-based design patterns.
• Background in implementing continuous integration (CI/CD) workflows and automating unit testing processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
