Position Overview: Administrator – L2
Wipro is actively seeking a skilled Administrator – L2 with 1–3 years of experience to join its Hyderabad team. This role is ideal for IT professionals passionate about delivering world-class technical support while ensuring optimal performance of hardware, software, network, and infrastructure components.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing service requests, resolving client issues efficiently, and upholding the high service standards expected by Wipro’s enterprise customers. Expertise in Apache Tomcat is mandatory for this role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Service Request Management

Address all service tickets raised by clients promptly through multiple channels—email, chat, dial-home, or IMS systems.

Ensure every request or incident is tracked from creation to resolution within SLA timelines.

Deliver high-quality technical support solutions while maintaining client satisfaction and service integrity.
2. Technical Issue Resolution

Analyze root causes for recurring or high-priority incidents.

Resolve software, hardware, networking, server, and storage issues based on pre-defined SLA parameters.

Collaborate with on-site or cross-functional teams for complex problem-solving scenarios.
3. Infrastructure Monitoring & Maintenance

Act as the primary custodian for client-side infrastructure, including servers, systems, network equipment, and storage platforms.

Monitor the health and performance of infrastructure components and take proactive measures to maintain uptime.

Support installation, configuration, and upgrade of applications, systems, and hardware components per client specifications.
4. Access Management & Security Compliance

Provision user/application access according to security policies and request workflows.

Maintain backups of critical systems, configuration logs, and service resources.

Enforce adherence to data protection, access control, and incident reporting policies.
5. Client Relationship & SLA Management

Ensure zero escalations by strictly adhering to ticket resolution timelines.

Maintain a client-first approach to enhance user satisfaction and business continuity.

Deliver technical resolutions with professionalism and effective communication, ensuring stakeholder confidence.
6. Automation & Chatbot Log Review

Review service logs and automated chatbot logs to verify resolution of automated or semi-automated service requests.

Escalate unresolved or misrouted tickets to appropriate support levels promptly.
Core Technical Skills Required

Mandatory: Experience working with Apache Tomcat

Sound understanding of infrastructure operations, system administration, and network management.

Familiarity with incident and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or equivalent platforms.
