Position Overview: Mid Level Manager (MLM) – L3
Wipro is seeking a proactive and results-driven Mid Level Manager (L3) to join its team in Hyderabad. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, increasing revenue, ensuring contract compliance, and delivering a superior customer experience. The MLM will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations, optimizing resource allocation, managing budgets, and supporting delivery governance within assigned accounts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Delivery Governance
- Partner with senior stakeholders to formulate strategic and operational plans aligned with account objectives.
- Identify new geographies and alternate revenue streams to support long-term growth.
- Deeply understand client expectations and potential risks to ensure high-quality delivery.
2. Contract Compliance & Quality Oversight
- Monitor and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs) across the account.
- Ensure delivery meets quality benchmarks, timelines, and budgets.
- Lead internal/external audits and implement systemic corrections to prevent compliance issues.
- Maintain a “Green Card” status across performance indicators.
3. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Regularly review delivery dashboards and MIS reports to track project status and flag potential risks.
- Participate in cadence reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
- Forecast, monitor, and optimize key account metrics and KPIs.
4. Financial Management & Invoicing
- Ensure timely and accurate client invoicing in line with SOW terms.
- Analyze costs, track expenses, and manage project budgeting efficiently.
- Resolve client issues related to billing and reporting.
5. Resource Allocation & Optimization
- Drive strategic workforce planning and capacity forecasting to meet project demands.
- Collaborate with delivery leads to meet account margins and resource goals.
- Conduct regular reviews with Workforce Management (WFM) to plan for ramp-ups and ensure compliance with contractual manpower requirements.
6. Employee Retention & Capability Development
- Lead team engagement activities, including one-on-one floor connects.
- Support professional growth through relevant training, certifications, and mentoring.
- Improve delivery team stickiness and retention through proactive talent management.
7. Stakeholder Communication & Risk Mitigation
- Act as a point of escalation for project risks or delivery issues.
- Lead discussions with internal/external stakeholders to resolve bottlenecks.
- Recommend and implement improvements to delivery processes.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 8–10 years of experience in operations, quality management, or delivery governance in a technology/consulting environment.
- Strong knowledge of contract compliance frameworks, SLA adherence, and governance.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and engage with senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, resource planning, and financial tracking.
- Experience in quality assurance and performance improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
