Role Overview
As a System Engineer – L4, you will be responsible for delivering technical support to clients, primarily focusing on troubleshooting and resolving issues related to operating systems, remote support tools, collaboration platforms, and security applications. This role demands strong communication skills, a high degree of customer empathy, and the technical expertise to resolve complex IT issues in a timely manner.
You will act as a key interface between users and backend IT teams, ensuring that user issues are accurately diagnosed, escalated when necessary, and resolved efficiently. Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Service and Communication

Deliver exceptional technical support through various communication channels, including phone, email, and remote sessions.

Handle and de-escalate irate customers with professionalism and empathy.

Communicate complex technical solutions in a user-friendly, understandable manner.
2. Technical Troubleshooting

Identify, analyze, and resolve system-related issues including Windows OS, Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Citrix, VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure), VPN connectivity, and security applications.

Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair issues, applying root cause analysis where applicable.

Proactively learn new technologies and maintain knowledge of the latest IT trends.
3. Remote Support Execution

Deliver remote assistance to end-users for resolving desktop, network, and software-related issues.

Ensure proper routing of support requests to appropriate IT support domains or specialized teams when advanced troubleshooting is required.

Follow internal escalation procedures and ensure issues are resolved within SLA timelines.
4. Documentation and Reporting

Maintain detailed logs and records of all support calls, issue resolutions, and escalations as per SOPs.

Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for recurring or newly discovered issues.

Report trending issues to management, helping improve response times and reduce incident volumes.
5. Continuous Improvement

Collaborate with technical teams and supervisors to improve support services.

Provide feedback on recurring issues and potential system upgrades or patches.

Contribute to knowledge management repositories with updated technical resolutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
