Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Sourcing Execution:

End-to-end ownership of sourcing operations, from requirements gathering and RFX creation to supplier negotiations and contract finalization.
Execute sourcing initiatives using structured procurement methodologies such as RFx (RFI, RFP, RFQ), SOW (Statement of Work), and contract redlining.
Ensure timely and accurate Purchase Request to Purchase Order (PRPO) and PO lifecycle management.

2. Category Management Expertise:

Demonstrated experience in managing procurement for indirect spend categories such as:

- Information Technology (Hardware and Software)
- Human Resources
- Marketing and Advertising
- Travel and Hospitality
- Telecommunications
- Insurance
- Print Media
- Facility Management
Specialization in Oil & Gas sourcing is highly desirable.

3. Client-Focused Delivery:

Engage with clients to understand their procurement strategy and align Infosys BPM’s services accordingly.
Manage client expectations through regular communications, progress updates, and performance reports.
Proactively identify sourcing opportunities that deliver added value to clients.

4. Contract Lifecycle Management:

Lead contract negotiations, review contract terms, manage insurance and legal elements, and close agreements that meet compliance standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, finance, and operations to ensure seamless contract execution.

5. KPI & SLA Governance:

Maintain and exceed agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
Drive operational excellence through continuous process monitoring and optimization.

6. Procurement Technology Proficiency:

Use advanced procurement platforms such as SAP and Coupa to streamline processes and enhance transparency.
Leverage e-sourcing tools to run sourcing events efficiently and ensure competitive supplier participation.

7. Process Improvement & Innovation:

Identify and implement automation tools to reduce manual intervention, enhance procurement cycle times, and minimize errors.
Drive initiatives aimed at reducing tail spend and improving procurement efficiency through digitization.

8. Cost Optimization:

Spearhead cost-saving initiatives through effective supplier negotiations, competitive bidding, and contract renegotiations.
Utilize market intelligence and spend analysis to identify savings opportunities.

9. Leadership & Team Management:

Manage global procurement teams and provide mentorship, coaching, and performance evaluations.
Foster a collaborative and performance-driven work culture within cross-functional sourcing teams.

Candidate Profile:

Educational Background:

A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Engineering (B.E) from a recognized institution is required.

Work Experience:

8 to 12 years of progressive experience in sourcing and procurement functions, preferably with international exposure and oil & gas domain expertise.

Essential Skills & Competencies:

Deep understanding of category strategies, contract negotiations, and sourcing execution.
Strong command over RFx processes, PRPO, PO management, and supplier performance evaluation.
Proficiency in SAP, Coupa, and other e-sourcing platforms.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving approach.
Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
High aptitude for stakeholder management and global team leadership.
