Role Objective
The primary objective of the Team Lead role is to ensure the smooth execution of business processes in line with client contracts while actively managing and enhancing team performance. This includes analyzing key metrics, guiding low performers, ensuring contractual compliance, and delivering seamless stakeholder communication and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process Execution and Client Contract Compliance

Lead day-to-day process execution aligned with the client’s contractual expectations.

Conduct shift-wise team huddles to emphasize key metrics, performance goals, and quality standards.

Record and circulate detailed meeting notes to ensure clarity and accountability.

Compile shift-end performance data and share it with the client regularly.

Liaise with the client for updates, changes, and strategic inputs to be relayed to the team.

Review key process metrics and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for any performance deviations.

Create and present weekly/monthly performance dashboards for management review.
2. Performance Management

Analyze performance trends from the last 6–8 weeks and identify underperforming team members.

Deliver structured coaching and actionable feedback to outliers to improve their output.

Develop and monitor Performance Coaching & Counselling Plans (PCCPs).

Monitor progress and provide hands-on support to improve execution and delivery.

Identify skill gaps, especially for new hires, and conduct focused training sessions.

Lead refresher training programs whenever there is a process change or quality concern.
3. Team Development and Engagement

Collaborate with Workforce Management (WFM) to ensure optimal staffing levels.

Organize team engagement activities, such as weekly “Fun Fridays,” to boost morale and cohesiveness.

Work with the automation team to identify potential automation opportunities and provide necessary data and support.
4. Stakeholder Interaction & Collaboration
- Serve as the key liaison between internal stakeholders and clients, promoting clear communication and driving seamless operational execution.

Communicate regularly with the client manager to align project goals and delivery timelines.

Participate in monthly performance reviews with Account Delivery leadership.

Coordinate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure delivery meets contractual benchmarks.

Provide prompt support and assistance in resolving any escalated issues or client concerns.
5. Effective Team Management
Resourcing

Support the hiring of qualified candidates to build a robust team.

Ensure timely onboarding and effective integration into the operational framework.
Talent Management

Implement structured training and development programs to elevate team capabilities.

Create a pipeline of internal talent and design career progression plans.

Track team attrition and take proactive steps to retain skilled professionals.

Performance Reviews

Set clear goals for each team member and conduct timely performance assessments.

Required Skills and Experience

Mandatory Skills: Hands-on experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), specifically in support roles such as Car Support or related GIS platforms.

Experience Range: 1–3 years in a similar role or domain.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with both internal teams and clients.

Demonstrated ability to manage team performance, provide effective coaching, and resolve escalations efficiently.

Ability to conduct RCA and data-driven analysis for quality improvement.

Strong organizational and time management capabilities to efficiently manage and prioritize multiple tasks concurrently.
