Job Overview: Cognizant is seeking an experienced and results-driven Deputy General Manager (DGM) – Presales & IOA Delivery professional to lead Sales Operations Services initiatives with a focus on Business Intelligence (BI), Reporting, and Business Analysis. This role is central to enhancing the performance, agility, and decision-making processes of our Sales Operations and Business Intelligence teams. As part of a hybrid work environment with rotational shifts, this position offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects that drive strategic business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Delivery Leadership
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Sales Operations Services projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and delivery schedules.
- Monitor progress and maintain high-quality outputs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Business Intelligence & Reporting
- Oversee the development and deployment of comprehensive BI and reporting tools.
- Enable data-driven strategies through insightful dashboards, analytics, and visual reporting solutions.
- Business Analysis & Strategic Planning
- Conduct in-depth analysis to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for business process improvements.
- Support strategic initiatives through data modeling, forecasting, and planning.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to understand business needs and provide tailored technology-enabled solutions.
- Maintain transparent communication and foster strong relationships with cross-functional business units.
- Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)
- Ensure all projects adhere to organizational governance and compliance frameworks.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks affecting project delivery.
- Commercial Lending Support
- Provide analytical support and strategic insights for commercial lending projects, helping drive profitable business decisions.
- Training and Team Development
- Conduct training programs and workshops to promote knowledge sharing and skill enhancement within teams.
- Mentor and guide team members, enhancing overall performance and delivery standards.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives
- Champion process optimization initiatives that drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
- Leverage agile methodologies to adapt to change and foster innovation.
- Adaptability and Communication
- Thrive in a hybrid work model with rotational shifts, ensuring continuous engagement and flexibility.
- Use clear, professional English (spoken and written) to communicate technical information to varied audiences.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in Sales Operations, Business Intelligence, and Business Analysis.
- Expertise in delivering high-impact BI projects with modern tools and technologies.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in interpreting complex data and driving strategy.
- Ability to lead multifunctional teams and navigate dynamic work environments.
- Experience in GRC and commercial lending is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts under a hybrid model.
Certifications Preferred:
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
- Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP)
