Job Summary:

Cognizant is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Product Specialist – Transact/TPH Developer to join our banking technology team. This hybrid role demands deep technical knowledge in Temenos Transact (T24) modules including Version Designer, Payments, OFS & Admin (R21), OFS Funds Transfer (R20), Enquiry Designer, and Core banking systems. The ideal candidate will have domain expertise in International Payments, Forex Payments, and Cards & Payments, and a strong passion for innovation and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

T24 Technical Development:

  • Architect, develop, and deploy end-to-end solutions using Temenos T24 Version Designer, ensuring compliance with functional specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Integrate and enhance T24 Payments systems for optimized processing and seamless customer experiences.
  • Administer and fine-tune T24 OFS & Admin (R21) modules to boost platform performance.
  • Configure, implement, and maintain T24 Funds Transfer (R20) workflows to support secure and efficient fund movements.
  • Design advanced queries using T24 Enquiry Designer to streamline data retrieval and reporting.
  • Ensure uptime and functionality of the T24 Core system, supporting essential banking operations.

Business & Domain Alignment:

  • Apply domain knowledge in International and Forex Payments to align solutions with global financial requirements.
  • Design features tailored for Cards & Payments platforms, ensuring compatibility with diverse banking environments.
  • Act as a bridge between business and IT stakeholders, ensuring technical solutions address real-world banking needs.

System Reliability & Performance Optimization:

  • Perform periodic evaluations of the T24 system to ensure optimal performance, regulatory compliance, and adherence to security protocols.
  • Analyze root causes of technical issues and provide swift resolutions to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor application performance and introduce enhancements to improve throughput and system efficiency.

Collaboration & Support:

  • Work cross-functionally with QA teams, infrastructure engineers, and project managers to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Provide technical support, mentorship, and documentation for junior team members.
  • Facilitate hands-on training sessions and knowledge-sharing workshops on T24 systems for internal teams and stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

  • Stay current with Temenos upgrades and new features to recommend innovative solutions.
  • Drive internal process improvements and contribute to solution standardization.
  • Leverage new technologies, including APIs and digital banking modules, to future-proof banking systems.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 7 to 11 years of proven hands-on experience in Temenos Transact (T24) development.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Version Designer, OFS & Admin (R21), OFS Funds Transfer (R20), Enquiry Designer, and T24 Core modules.
  • In-depth knowledge of Payments infrastructure, including International Payments, Forex Payments, and Card-based solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration across departments.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to quickly adapt to evolving project requirements and new technologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and CI/CD processes for T24 deployments.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance in international financial transactions.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions and project implementations from concept to go-live.
  • Familiarity with performance tuning, batch processing, and version control tools.
