Job Summary:

Cognizant is looking for a seasoned and visionary General Manager – BFSI Solutioning to lead financial systems analysis and solutioning for our global clientele. This role is ideal for an accomplished Lead Business Analyst with 15 to 18 years of experience and a deep focus on Finance – Procure to Pay (P2P), Finance & Operations (MSD365 F&O), and Client Reporting (DCS). The candidate must bring a proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade solutions and possess strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

This is a hybrid role requiring flexibility for rotational shifts and offers the opportunity to influence business-critical transformation projects across the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector.


Key Responsibilities:

Financial Systems Analysis & Implementation:

  • Oversee comprehensive business analysis efforts across all phases of finance transformation initiatives.
  • Define, document, and validate business requirements across the P2P lifecycle and Finance & Operations modules using Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Oversee the successful implementation of financial solutioning and ensure seamless alignment with client objectives.
  • Provide in-depth knowledge in Client Reporting – DCS, ensuring the delivery of precise, timely, and regulation-compliant financial reports.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategic Insight:

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate financial and operational data.
  • Ensure project alignment with financial standards, audit controls, and regulatory compliance.
  • Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, translating financial objectives into functional solutions.
  • Drive consensus among cross-functional teams to deliver on strategic financial initiatives.

Project Planning & Delivery:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project documentation including business process flows, use cases, and test plans.
  • Track progress through structured project plans, timelines, and delivery checkpoints.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and bottlenecks.
  • Ensure timely delivery of milestones while maintaining high standards of quality.

Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement:

  • Conduct regular reviews of financial processes and suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Recommend enhancements to financial systems to increase automation and reporting accuracy.
  • Lead change management efforts including communication, training, and adoption planning.

Training & User Support:

  • Facilitate user training and workshops for internal stakeholders and end-users.
  • Provide post-implementation support and resolve any user-reported issues related to financial systems.
  • Create support documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

BFSI Sector Support:

  • Extend domain knowledge and support to Investment Banking Operations and related financial reporting initiatives.
  • Analyze and align solutioning with BFSI-specific business drivers and compliance frameworks.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 15 to 18 years of proven experience in business analysis, particularly within Finance, Accounting, and BFSI domains.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Procure to Pay (P2P), Finance & Operations using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O).
  • Demonstrated experience in Client Reporting (DCS) and enterprise finance reporting.
  • Prior exposure to investment banking operations is preferred.
  • Fluency in English – strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model and flexible with rotational shift requirements.

Certifications Required:

  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate
