Role Summary
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will support enterprise-level initiatives that span multiple systems, applications, and stakeholders. Your work will be pivotal in delivering seamless system integration, accurate data mapping, and effective reporting capabilities. You will be the bridge between technical teams and business units—ensuring alignment with compliance, operational, and strategic goals.
You’ll also play a vital role in assessing risks related to GenAI use cases in your capacity as a Triage Manager, working closely with local QRS representatives and SMEs to define mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery – Business Analysis Services
- Lead business analysis workstreams across multi-platform technology projects, with a strong focus on data integration and analytics.
- Define project scope, plan analysis activities, and track milestones, particularly in projects involving data flows, interoperability, and automation.
- Conduct workshops with stakeholders to gather and translate business, data, and reporting needs into clear technical requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation for functional, non-functional, and data requirements.
- Perform data profiling, mapping, and analysis to create source-to-target mappings and data transformation logic.
- Work closely with Solution Architects, Data Engineering teams, and Developers to design and implement robust data pipelines and seamless integration frameworks.
- Validate dashboards and reporting tools built using Power BI, Excel, and cloud-based analytics platforms.
- Ensure alignment with security protocols, privacy regulations, and data classification standards.
- Leverage knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and tools (Dell Boomi, Azure Data Factory) to guide solution feasibility.
- Lead the development of test cases and support user acceptance testing (UAT), especially for analytics and data validation.
- Integrate emerging technologies such as GenAI and AI-driven analytics into modern solution designs.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Operate independently and influence cross-functional decision-making.
- Mentor junior Business Analysts and contribute to team growth.
- Translate technical complexities into business language for diverse stakeholders.
- Escalate risks and manage stakeholder engagement proactively.
Process Improvement
- Contribute to the Business Analysis Centre of Excellence (CoE), standardizing BA practices and artifacts.
- Identify improvement areas through retrospective analysis.
- Promote consistency and quality across documentation and delivery approaches.

Qualifications
- A degree in Engineering (B.E.) or Technology (B.Tech) from a recognized institution, preferably with a focus on information systems, computer science, or related disciplines.
Essential Skills and Experience
- 3–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with solid exposure to large-scale technical and integration projects.
- Expertise in source-to-target data mapping, interface specifications, and transformation rules.
- Strong analytical capabilities with a track record in profiling data sets and identifying data quality issues.
- Proven experience in data migration planning, validation, and reporting solutions.
- Hands-on collaboration with Data Architects, Engineers, and Solution Designers.
- Familiarity with enterprise technology architecture and its alignment with business strategy.
- Solid understanding of data categorization protocols, cybersecurity principles, and industry compliance frameworks.
- Proficient in tools like Power BI and Excel for reporting and visualization.
Desirable Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL or similar platforms for data querying and validation.
- Knowledge of cloud services such as Microsoft Azure or AWS, especially around data storage and services.
- Familiarity with integration platforms such as Dell Boomi and Azure Data Factory, including their role in streamlining cloud-based data workflows.
- Experience with GenAI tools and intelligent automation frameworks.
