Eligibility Criteria for UPSC NDA & NA (II) 2025
Nationality
Candidates must be:

Indian citizens, or

Subjects of Nepal, or

Persons of Indian origin who have migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia) or Vietnam with the intent to settle permanently in India.
Note: Candidates other than Indian citizens (except Gorkha subjects of Nepal) must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
Age Limit

Candidates must be born between 1st January 2007 and 1st January 2010.

Educational Qualifications

Air Force and Navy Wings of NDA and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at INA: 12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or equivalent.
Candidates appearing in the 12th standard are also eligible to apply but must produce proof of passing by 10th June 2026.
Physical and Medical Standards
Applicants must be physically fit according to prescribed medical standards:

Vision Standards: 6/6 in better eye and 6/9 in worse eye (Flying Branch candidates).

Dental Standards: Minimum of 14 dental points.

General Health: No chronic illnesses like anaemia, squint, color blindness, or hereditary conditions.

LASIK Surgery: Candidates with LASIK surgery must have a post-operative corneal thickness of ≥450 microns and must have completed at least 12 months since the surgery.

The selection will be conducted in three stages:
1. Written Examination
