IASST Faculty Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 14/06/2025)
- Associate Professor-II/I: Maximum 50 years
- Assistant Professor-II: Maximum 40 years
- **Age Relaxation: Relaxation in age is provided for SC/ST/OBC and other reserved categories as per Government of India norms.
Educational Qualifications and Experience
Associate Professor-II (Level-13):
- Data Science:
- Master’s Degree in IT/Mathematics/Statistics/Bioinformatics/Life Sciences with First Class.
- Ph.D. in Data Science or related fields.
- 10 years of post-Ph.D. experience, including a minimum of 5 years in the role of Assistant Professor-II or Scientist-C.
- Supervision of at least 1 Ph.D. student.
- 10 refereed journal publications (at least 2 in the last 2 years).
- Experience in handling 1 sponsored project as Principal Investigator or 2 projects as Co-Principal Investigator.
- Life Sciences:
- Master’s Degree in Life Sciences with First Class.
- Ph.D. in Life Sciences.
- Expertise in OMICS or Phytopharmaceutical research areas.
- Same experience and publication criteria as above.
Associate Professor-I (Level-13/12):
- Life Sciences/Pharmacy:
- Master’s Degree in Life Sciences/Pharmacy with First Class.
- Ph.D. in related disciplines.
- 10 years post-Ph.D. experience, with 5 years at Assistant Professor-II level.
- Guided at least 1 Ph.D. student.
- 10 refereed publications (minimum 2 in the last 2 years).
- Chemical Sciences:
- Master’s Degree in Chemical Sciences with First Class.
- Ph.D. in Chemistry.
- 6 years post-Ph.D. experience.
- 6 refereed journal publications (at least 1 in the last 2 years).
- Expertise in Polymer Chemistry or Chemo-Bioremediation.
- Physics (Plasma Physics):
- Master’s Degree in Physics with First Class.
- Ph.D. in Physics specializing in Plasma Physics.
- 6 years post-Ph.D. experience.
- 6 refereed publications (1 in the last 2 years).
- Quantum Materials:
- Master’s Degree in Physics/Chemistry/Nano Science with First Class.
- Ph.D. in related disciplines.
- 6 years post-Ph.D. experience.
- 6 refereed journal publications (1 in the last 2 years).
Assistant Professor-II (Level-11):
- Life Sciences/Bioinformatics:
- Master’s Degree in Life Sciences/Bioinformatics with First Class.
