Educational Qualifications & Experience
- Deputy Director (Legal): A degree in Law (BL) with a minimum of 15 years of professional legal practice.
- Assistant Director (Statistical Analyst): Postgraduate degree in Statistics with 10 years of experience.
- Manager (Mines): B.E. in Mining, First-Class Mines Manager Certificate, 15 years of relevant experience.
- Deputy Manager (Environment): B.E./B.Tech in Environmental Science, 10 years of experience.
- Assistant Manager (Mines): B.E. in Mining with a Second-Class Mines Manager Certificate and 5 years of experience.
- Assistant Manager (P&A): MSW/MBA (HR)/MPMIR with 5 years of experience, 3 of which must be in an Executive cadre.
- Factory Manager (SKD/RKD): B.E. in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering with 10 years of senior-level experience.
- Assistant General Manager (Projects): B.E. in Civil/Engineering and MBA with 7 years of project management experience.
- Assistant Secretary: Bachelor’s degree along with completion of ACS (Final) and a minimum of 2 years of professional work experience.
- Scientist ‘C’ Grade: Ph.D. in Biotechnology along with a minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in wildlife management.
- Chief/Regional Sthapathi: B.Tech or BFA in Traditional Architecture or Sculpture with extensive experience of 10 to 15 years specializing in temple renovation projects.
- Assistant Manager (Projects): B.E. in Civil with MBA and 3 years of urban infrastructure experience.
- Assistant Director of Statistics: Bachelor’s Degree with First Class or a Postgraduate qualification in Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics.
- English/Tamil Reporter: Bachelor’s degree with GTE qualification in Shorthand and Typewriting.
- Assistant Director of Town and Country Planning: Postgraduate degree in Planning or an equivalent qualification, accompanied by relevant professional experience.
- Assistant Superintendent (Chemical Wing): B.E. in Chemical Engineering with 3 years of research/engineering experience.
- Assistant Director Industries and Commerce: Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics.
- Assistant Planner: Master’s Degree in Planning or a Bachelor’s Degree in Planning with a minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience.
- Psychologist: Postgraduate degree in Psychology with at least one year of relevant work experience preferred.
- Senior Accounts Officer: Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant with 2 years of experience.
- Research Assistant: M.V.Sc. with Tamil language proficiency.
- Sociologist: PG in Sociology.
- Senior Entomologist: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Zoology/Medical Entomology with 3 years of laboratory experience.
- Assistant Director Training / Principal, ITI: B.E. with 3 years of workshop/factory experience.
- Assistant Director (Technical): M.A./Ph.D. in Archaeology/Tamil/History with PG Diploma in Epigraphy.
- Veterinary Assistant Surgeon: B.V.Sc. and registration with Tamil Nadu Veterinary Council.
- Assistant Manager (SIPCOT): B.E. (Mech/ECE/CSE/IT) or PG in Statistics/Economics.
Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive a salary in the range of Level 22 to Level 29 based on the pay matrix, which includes various allowances and benefits under CPS/EPF/GFTR/PFTR/SPF/GSTR schemes.
Selection Process
Candidates applying for TNPSC CTSE 2025 will undergo a comprehensive selection process comprising multiple phases:
- Written Examination:
- Paper I: Subject-specific paper (3 hours, 300 marks).
