Job Overview
We are looking for a Project Engineer with a strong foundation in multidisciplinary engineering disciplines to join our engineering team for high-value industrial projects in the oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, and fertilizer sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the technical aspects of engineering deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
This role demands technical knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to manage internal and external interfaces across engineering, procurement, site, and client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Engineering Planning & Execution
- Develop and maintain the Engineering Execution Plan in alignment with project schedules and scope.
- Plan and organize project engineering activities, including the allocation and monitoring of specialist engineers, tools, and subcontractors.
- Ensure timely delivery of engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation as per client requirements.
2. Coordination & Interface Management
- Perform interdisciplinary coordination across mechanical, civil, electrical, instrumentation, and process teams.
- Act as the key interface between design teams, site teams, vendors, and clients.
- Manage engineering inputs required by other departments such as procurement, construction, and planning.
3. Monitoring & Control
- Continuously monitor and control engineering deliverables against the master schedule.
- Track progress on execution quantities and forecast deliverables in alignment with construction milestones.
- Regularly update the immediate supervisor on the project status, progress, risks, and deviations.
4. Technical Support & Change Management
- Provide inputs for technical feasibility studies and cost-effective solutions during scope or design changes.
- Participate in evaluation and implementation of technical changes, including change order preparation and client negotiations.
5. Standards & Compliance
- Ensure engineering work complies with applicable international codes, industry standards, and statutory regulations.
- Ensure adherence to client specifications and engineering best practices (e.g., PMC guidelines).
- Support QA/QC and HSE teams in maintaining quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across engineering deliverables.

- Clients, PMC representatives, Vendors, Government Inspection Agencies, Third-party Contractors

- Hands-on experience with planning tools (e.g., Primavera or equivalent)
Technical Competencies – Nice to Have:

- Experience in 3D model reviews and digital engineering platforms
