🎓 Eligibility Criteria
For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders
Nationality: Indian citizen, subject of Nepal, or person of Indian origin migrated from select countries with intent of permanent settlement in India.
Age Limit: 19 to 25 years as on July 1, 2025 (born between July 2, 2000, and July 1, 2006).
Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Final-year students can apply if they have secured at least 50% marks in the first two/three years of their degree program.
NCC Service: Should have served for a minimum of two/three years in the Senior Division/Wing of NCC.
NCC Certificate: Should have obtained a minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC.
For Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel
Age Limit: 19 to 25 years as on July 1, 2025.
Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
NCC Certificate: Not required for this category.
📄 Vacancy Details
NCC Men: 70 vacancies (63 for General Category and 7 for Wards of Battle Casualties).
NCC Women: 6 vacancies (5 for General Category and 1 for Wards of Battle Casualties).
📝 Selection Process
Shortlisting of Applications: Based on academic performance and NCC credentials.
SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will undergo a two-stage SSB (Services Selection Board) selection process.
Medical Examination: Candidates who clear the SSB interview will undergo a medical examination.
Merit List: A merit list will be compiled based on candidates’ performance in the SSB process and medical fitness.
💰 Salary & Benefits
During Training: ₹56,100 per month.
After Commissioning: Rank of Lieutenant with a pay scale of ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 (Level 10) plus allowances as applicable.
