Role 
Description: Technical Lead – L1
Job Purpose
With your role as a technical lead—L1, your central purpose is supporting day-to-day operational excellence by tracking and boosting the performance of production specialists. You will process technical escalations, guide teammatesmaintain SLA adherence, and spearhead process improvements to deliver outstanding customer satisfaction and viable business results.

Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Performance Monitoring and Process Oversight
• Monitor
team performance metrics and dashboards to confirm alignment with SLA and quality standards.
• Monitor the number and resolution of transactions on a daily basisand identify areas where efficiency can be improved.
• Support the team in technical troubleshooting and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Keep proper records of client queries, steps taken for resolution, and feedback logs.
• Respond to client queries professionally, fulfilling all compliance and quality requirements.
• Provide critical product knowledge to enable team members to successfully and independently address client issues.
2. Technical Escalation Management and Troubleshooting
• Identify and address technical issues beyond the expertise of production specialists.
• Offer in real-time support to address escalated issues within SLA timeframes.
• Escalate unresolved issues to Technical Architects (TA) and Subject Expert Specialists (SES) where needed.
• Offer technical support to clients in a relaxedpolite, and solution-focused manner.
• 
Provide alternative solutions with the objective of maintaining client relationships and improving user satisfaction.
• 
Conduct proper follow-ups and callback schedules to ensure compliance and feedback.
3. 
People Capability and Skill Development
• Mentor production 
experts to improve technical knowledge and domain expertise.
• Identify skill gaps and 
conduct triage sessions to fill those gaps efficiently.
• 
Create and conduct training modules aligned with client products and services.
• Update clients on training sessions and skill-building process progress.
• Continuously update with product releases and industry developments through formal training and self-learning.
• Log common technical problems and suggest remedial action for the team.

Performance Metrics & Key Deliverables
Your performance as a technical lead will be evaluated using three fundamental parameters:
1. Process Efficiency
• Daily number of cases solved.
• Process guideline compliance and quality standards adherence.
• SLA compliance 
for different service requests.
• Customer satisfaction (NSAT/ESAT) 
 obtained feedback scores.
2. Team Management
• Productivity rates and efficiency scores.
• Attendance, 
participation, and overall team health.
3. Capability Development
• 
Volume and quality of triages achieved.
• 
Performance in technical tests by team members after training.

Desired Candidate Profile
To 
excel in this position, candidates must exhibit the following qualifications, abilities, and characteristics:
Qualifications
• Bachelor
s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related technical discipline versa.
• IT service management or product support-related certifications (preferred but not required).
Experience
• 3–5 years of experience in technical support, IT operations, or process delivery functions.
• Demonstrated experience in team mentoring, process management, and client interaction.

Key Skills
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with technical tools, software, and client-facing platforms.
• Capacity to resolve escalations with professionalism and urgency.
• Skilled at managing team productivity, skill development, and training programs.
